Joy was absolutely wonderful to work with and took such great care of my 1 year old, anxious energy, hyper, golden retriever before and during training. As someone who searched a bunch of programs this seemed to fit the best, and it was worth every cent. He was like a different dog after 1 week. I tried everything I could to train my 2yr old pittie socialization, greeting manors and leash pulling I even tried a trainer at a different business but nothing was working. Off leash K9 training offers a 2 week board and train program that was reasonably priced so I thought about it and I realized I would never attempt my own surgery or pull my own teeth I would seek out a professional so it was time to let a professional step in. It was an investment in a better life for him and I both. I dropped off a high energy anxious dog and 2 weeks later Joy gave me back a well mannered, calm, completely off leash dog. I wanted to cry because I knew that there was nothing that would stop him from living his best life now. She asked what my end goal was for Stormie so that she can cater her training to our needs.  She cares about you, your dog and the relationship between dog and owners.  Recall is extremely important to us as well as the goal is to have Stormie as my Service or Therapy dog.  Trish not only got Stormie trained on recall, but she also did public access training with her.  I can take her to the hospital, doctor’s office, restaurants, and any store.  Everywhere I go people always comment on how well-behaved she is especially so young.  Her training does not end when the dog leaves, her support continues even when I call with questions.
